Small Office Phone System

Small Office Phone Systems’ Unique Requirements

I receive a lot of questions from Small Offices regarding their Phone System and our recommendation.  I thought long and hard about this and knew that this is a market that is in need of serious help.

When questioned, most of the Small Offices were looking into VoIP Phone Systems to take advantage of its expanded Feature Set.  This threw me off a little bit as it was commonly known to move to a VoIP Phone System to save money on phone bill.

Then I realized that most of the Small Offices do not call out that much except for Call Centers of course but these are completely different animals.  So what they really wanted was to give their customers and clients the impression of a Larger Company and overcome Call Routing issues that are common with traditional phone system.  Whoa!

For that purpose, I ALWAYS recommend Asterisk IP PBX Phone System.  Of course there are some planning and technical items that need to be addressed for it to be successful, but for what it costs to implement in addition to reliability, ease of maintenance and ease of expansion, nothing comes close.

I have outlined what an Asterisk IP PBX Phone System’s Benefits for Small Office below and its typical cost:

Small Office Asterisk Phone System Benefits
